One reason why I love hands so much is I love making things with my hands. I like doing handiwork like knitting, tatting (as seen in a previous post), crocheting, throwing pottery, etc. I have knitted a few things in my days, a few successes, many failures. If you look closely at the hand, I tried to knit in the creases in the hand by the thumb and the life line. Just a pattern I made up myself. (I doubt any sane person would make up and publish a pattern for a hand. If you make a comparison between me and an insane person, I plead the fifth!)
