Peacock feathers have always had a soft spot in our family. My Fantastic Great Grandpa Story practically had a zoo at his house and raised many peacocks. My mom and sister have fond memories of walking around the farm and collecting peacock feathers. My sister is kind of obsessed with peacocks; she even made a peacock halloween costume for Halloween one year.
